Assigning Principal Accounts

EQAO has introduced separate roles for Principals and School Administrators
within the e-assessment system. Each school must have exactly one principal identified.
Only Principals can complete the Principal Questionnaire, while School Administrators retain most existing permissions but are excluded from this responsibility. Going forward, Principals will serve as the main point of contact for all EQAO notifications.

The school board IT invites or assigns the principal role to one individual per school.

IMPORTANT 
Only the identified assigned Principal will have access to the Principal Questionnaire.

Steps to assign the Principal Accounts:

1.The school board IT invites or assigns the principal role to one individual per school.
2. If a Principal already exists, the new Principal invitation will replace the existing Principal.
3.The previous Principal will automatically be assigned the School Administrator role.

The school board IT has the ability to send invitations to principals in bulk.
